Article extract
A wide variety of summer bedding plants will be available at your local garden centre this month, for you to get ahead with your containers and baskets. These will need to be protected with horticultural fleece or grown in a cool greenhouse until risk of frost is past. Look at the variety of half hardy perennials such as Diascia and Verbena, which are weather resistant and very long flowering.
